Topic: Activities Outside School

Every Tuesday, I have Maths and Chinese tution. Before maths tution, I have to stay back in school for a special art programme. So I left 1 hour to get to the tution centre which is not that far from my school. The maths tution starts at 4.30 p.m. - 6.30p.m. The maths tution is located at Ang Mo Kio. After maths tution, I have chinese tution at Serangoon Ave 4. I only have 1 hour to have my dinner and get there. I also have to change bus. My youger sister also goes the same tution as me, same time same day. The chinese tution starts at 7.30p.m. - 9.30p.m. We are so flushed. By the time we reach home, we are very tired.
On Sunday, I have english tution at Nee Soon East Community Centre. I like the teacher there because she is very funny. She always tell us jokes. The tution starts at 9.30a.m. - 11.30a.m.

Journal6:Target Setting

I think the purpose of setting tagets for various subjects is that once we set our targets, we will know what are we targeting at. I think this is useful because it make us work hard to reach our targets. By adding 5 marks each time. I will work hard to achieve my targets.

Our school's Vision,Missionand Values

My school's vision is : A School of Distinction Nurturing Future-Ready Citizens of Character.
My school's mission is : Providing quality education to equip pupils with the values, knowledge and skills for the 21st Century.
My school's values are :
  • Self-discipline
  • Passion for learning
  • Integrity
  • Courage
  • Excellence
  • Sincerity

I think that my school's vision, mission and values are important because they can make us a better and a smarter person (actually, I do not even understand what am I writing about). I believe in my school values because they are not there for display, they are there to help or make us a better person. Some students do not think about the school values when they are engaging in activities outside or inside the school. We can live up to our school values if we practice them. I find that most students are interested in games so I suggest that the teachers should let the students play games relating to the school values.
